Thank you for booking your home cleaning with Match Maid Cleaning.

Please review the terms below carefully.

By booking a service with us, you agree to these Terms of Service. We look forward to providing you with excellent service.


Required Card on File

All billing is handled electronically through our trusted third-party payment processor, Stripe. For your security:

We do not have access to your full payment method details

Your card will be securely stored on file

Charges are processed automatically after each cleaning

Receipts are sent to the email address on file

A valid payment method is required to maintain active service. We reserve the right to cancel services if a valid card is not on file.


Card Authorization Hold

A temporary authorization hold for the total service amount will be placed on your card 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

This is not a charge

If the hold fails, we may cancel the service

You will be notified via text, call, or email if action is required


Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

(48 hours’ notice required)

We understand that plans change. However, late cancellations directly impact our cleaners’ schedules and earnings.

The following fees apply:

Less than 48 hours’ notice: $50 fee

Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of booking total

Same-day cancellation: 100% of booking total

All fees are charged to the card on file.


Cleaner Reassignment Policy

Match Maid Cleaning reserves the right to reassign cleaners as needed, including for recurring or one-time services. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance whenever possible.


Complaints & Service Issues

All service-related complaints must be submitted within 24 hours of service completion to qualify for resolution.

Right to Terminate or Refuse Service

Match Maid Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for reasons including, but not limited to:

Safety concerns

Weapons on premises

Severe clutter or unsanitary conditions

Disconnected utilities

Inappropriate or threatening behavior

We do not clean or perform services involving:

Hoarder homes

Biohazards (feces, urine, blood, vomit, drug paraphernalia, etc.)

Pest infestations

Tall ladder work (over 3 steps)

Hazardous or unsafe conditions

If a home is deemed unsafe or unreasonable upon arrival, cleaners may leave and applicable cancellation fees will apply.


Cleaning Day Preparation

Cleaning prices assume cleaners can focus fully on cleaning. Please ensure:

Floors, countertops, and surfaces are accessible

Personal clutter is picked up beforehand

This helps ensure quality and efficiency.


Use of Homeowner’s Vacuum

If you request that we use your vacuum:

We assume no liability for damage to the unit

We are not responsible for repairs

If the vacuum is non-functional, vacuuming services may not be completed


Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items

For safety reasons, our cleaners do not:

Use tall ladders

Move heavy furniture

Please move appliances or furniture ahead of time if you would like areas behind or underneath cleaned.


Non-Solicitation Agreement

Clients agree not to solicit, hire, or contract any Match Maid Cleaning employee or contractor during service and for two (2) years following termination.

Violation results in:

$3,000 liquidated damages fee

Immediate service termination

No refund obligation

This does not limit our right to pursue additional legal remedies.


Changes to Requested Services

All service changes must be approved by Match Maid Cleaning prior to the appointment.

Cleaners are not authorized to approve changes

All requests must go through our office

Changes should be submitted by 5:00 PM the day before your cleaning


100% Satisfaction Guarantee

If we miss something:

Notify us within 24 hours

Provide photos of missed areas

We will return to re-clean the affected areas

Claims submitted after 24 hours may fall outside the warranty period.

We are not responsible for damage due to:

Pre-existing wear and tear

Improper installation

Incorrect usage


Hourly Cleaning Services

Hourly services are based solely on time purchased.

Completion of all tasks is not guaranteed

Satisfaction guarantee does not apply

Additional time may be purchased if needed


Flat-Rate Pricing

Flat rates assume a reasonable level of cleanliness.

If additional time is required:

You will be contacted for approval

You may approve additional time or set priorities

Prices will never be increased without your approval.


Arrival Windows

Arrival windows are approximately 2 hours, such as:

8–10 AM

10–12 PM

12–2 PM

2–4 PM

Delays due to weather, cancellations, or lockouts will be communicated promptly.


Holidays

Match Maid Cleaning does not operate on the following holidays:

Independence Day

Thanksgiving

Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Day

If your service falls on a holiday, we will contact you to reschedule.


Services Not Offered

We do not provide:

Wet wiping of light bulbs

Floor refinishing or waxing

Upholstery cleaning

Biohazard removal

Large furniture moving

Large-scale trash removal


Communication & Payment Responsibility

Clients must keep contact information up to date

All charges and holds apply to the card on file

Failure to pay may result in service termination or legal action


Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials remain the exclusive property of Match Maid Cleaning.


Third-Party Websites

We are not responsible for third-party websites linked through our service. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.


Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to services at any time without notice for violations of these terms.


Disclaimer

Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
We make no warranties, express or implied.


Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.


Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
